Aum Tashi Pem, Country Director and Mr. Tshering Phuntsho, M&E and Learning Officer of HELVETAS Bhutan paid a special visit to Dr. Rinzin Rinzin, the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of Bhutan Civil Society Network (BCSN) at the Bhutan Transparency Initiative (BTI) office last morning.
The Country Director informed the Chairperson that although they are unable to provide BCSN’s request for financial support to acquire office equipment and furniture for the new BCSN Secretariat office, they are happy to share some of their office equipment and furniture with BCSN. Accordingly, she handed over a laptop, monitor, printer, hard drive, projectors, camera/speaker/Hub set for conference, fans, heater, file rack, executive revolving chair and table etc. to the secretariat. The donation will enable the BCSN Secretariat in setting up its office.
The Country Director and the Chairperson also discussed future avenues of collaboration.
